Testie started because our founder, Thea Wayne, got tired of how complicated and shame-filled getting tested for STIs can be.
After a few negative experiences with sexual health intake forms (and one very real misdiagnosis), she realized something needed to change. Through her podcast, Seggs Talk Radio, Thea heard story after story from people who felt judged, anxious, or just plain confused about how to get tested.
