You’re purchasing a lab order for STI testing. After checkout, you’ll visit a local testing center to provide your sample. This is not an at-home kit.

Your lab order is valid and in the lab's system for up to one year from the date of purchase.
Can I cancel or change my order?

Because lab orders are processed shortly after purchase, we’re typically unable to cancel or modify orders once they’ve been placed. If you have an issue with your order, please reach out to support@testiehealth.com and our team will review your request.

Testie is a direct-to-consumer service at this time and we do not bill insurance.

How does the Testie process work?
How does the Testie process work?
1. Choose your test & location: Select the STI panel that fits your needs, then enter your zip code to choose a nearby testing center and confirm availability in your area.
2. Visit the lab & get your results: After checkout, your lab order is sent to the lab network. Then you'll book an appointment at one of 2000+ testing centers. Your results are delivered securely to your patient dashboard as they become available.
3. Get support if needed: If any results require follow-up, you’ll complete a short intake form and a licensed provider will contact you to walk through next steps. For many common, treatable STIs, medication can be prescribed and sent to your preferred pharmacy when appropriate.

You’ll visit a local testing center within our lab network. Before checkout, you selected a nearby location to confirm availability in your area.
Once you place your order, your lab order is already in the system. You’ll then receive instructions on how to schedule your visit. You can go to any testing center within the network.

We recommend booking an appointment to save time. You can walk in at some testing centers, but we do not suggest it.

No, fasting is not required for routine STI testing. You can eat and drink normally before your visit.
Do I need to bring my lab form to the testing center?

You do not need to bring a printed lab form, but we recommend having access to your lab order form, it is attached at the bottom of the email titled "It's time to take your lab test."

Testie will notify you as soon as your results are available. Timing can vary depending on the laboratory’s processing. Most results are typically completed within a few days after your lab visit.

You’ll receive a text notification as soon as your results are ready.

You can view your results by logging into your patient dashboard at testiehealth.com. Click “Login” in the upper right corner to access your secure results.

A phone or video consult is not included with negative results. However, you can message a licensed provider directly through your patient dashboard with any questions. Our Clinical Team is available Monday through Friday, 7am–4pm PDT via dashboard chat or by phone at (855) 983-5347.

If you test positive for an STI, you will be prompted to complete a short intake form to help guide care, and then a licensed provider will reach out by phone to walk you through your results and next steps.

Treatment may be available depending on your results and clinical eligibility. If appropriate, a licensed provider can prescribe medication and send it to your preferred pharmacy. For more information, please refer to our treatment policy.*
Treatment for the following may be available depending on the individual case and applicable state laws:
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhea
- Trichomoniasis
- Mycoplasma genitalium
- Bacterial vaginosis
We cannot treat:
- Syphilis
- Hepatitis B
- Hepatitis C
- HIV

If you test positive for an STI and treatment is appropriate, prescriptions can be sent to a pharmacy of your choice.

You’re always free to take your results to your own healthcare provider for follow-up care.
